The Clenta Iris Clienteling messaging program

Clenta LLC ("Clenta") sends individual text messages on behalf of participating businesses to their existing clients through the Clenta Iris Clienteling program. Messages are 1:1 service communications, such as appointment follow-ups, order and repair status updates, and notices about items you asked a business about. This is not a bulk marketing or promotional messaging program.

Consent and opt-in

You receive messages only if you provided your phone number to a participating business and agreed to receive messages about your orders, appointments, and requested items. Your consent is recorded by the business. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

How consent is collected

Clients opt in verbally, in person, at participating businesses. When you share your phone number with an associate, the associate asks:

“Can we text you about product you are or might be interested in? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can text HELP for help or STOP anytime to opt out. Our SMS terms and privacy policy are at clenta.ai/legal.”

Your consent is recorded in the business's client records before any message is sent. The first message sent to every new phone number automatically includes the full disclosure below, so you have it in writing even if you only agreed verbally:

“Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Terms: clenta.ai/legal/sms-terms. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Message frequency and rates

• Message frequency varies based on your relationship and conversations with the business.
• Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out and getting help

• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts.
• If you opt out by accident, reply START to the same number to resume receiving messages.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or email legal@clenta.ai.

Obligations of participating businesses

Businesses that enable SMS messaging through Clenta (including the SMS add-on) are responsible for how consent is collected in their stores. By enabling SMS, the business agrees that:

• Its team will ask each client for permission using the script above, as written, before any message is sent to that client.
• Consent, including when and how it was given, is recorded in the business's client records before the first message.
• Opt-outs are honored immediately. A client who replies STOP is not contacted again by text unless they reply START themselves.

The script above is the consent script on file for every business in the program. Clenta may suspend SMS for accounts that send messages without documented consent.

Privacy

Your phone number and opt-in consent are used solely to deliver the messages you requested. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers as necessary to deliver the messages you requested.
